Welcome! Louise is a Fashion Textile Print Design specialist who loves to hand draw and paint designs inspired by Nature – especially Floral, Animal and Conversational or Vintage. Louise paints softly using bold colours to create designs that elevate your brand. Louise’s designs have been used on a variety of fashions at clothing brands such as Joanie, Rags and George.

Louise paints with media such as acrylics and inks. The designs are then put into repeat in Photoshop and are currently available as prints at Patternbank. Louise creates in her studio surrounded by nature in inspirational Marsden, West Yorkshire.

About LOUISE ELIZABETH

Developing Textile Design practice and education is important to Louise Elizabeth. Louise was awarded a Master of Philosophy degree in Fashion Textiles from the University of Huddersfield in November 2025. Louise studied visual forms of nostalgia from the 1970s in contemporary printed ladies fashion textile design. Prior to this, Louise graduated from Leeds Arts University in 2018 with a Master of Arts in Creative Practice, studying colour and expression through painting practice in Textile Design. Louise also has two undergraduate degrees – a BA in Textile Design and a B.Ed in Design Education. See Louise’s CV here.
